19 1/2” x 12” sheet of handmade flax paper dyed with indigo dye and woven with paste paper and waxed linen thread. Art ships framed in a beige mat and black frame. Approximately 22” x 30”
Daydreams was juried into CraftTexas 2025, an exhibition highlighting the best in Texas-made contemporary craft. The show was juried by Abraham Thomas, Daniel Brodsky Curator of Modern Architecture, Design, and Decorative Arts at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.

Dyeing fiber has become an important component of my art. I generally use indigo, walnut, or persimmon dyes to color the background sheets, dipping or painting the finished handmade paper rather than dyeing the pulp itself, as I do in my pulp paintings.
